About This Blog

This blog was originally started as a thread on the forum pages of an animal rescue site. Now it's here!

The articles you find in here are purely for entertainment (yours and mine) and (with one or two exceptions) are all tongue-in-cheek chronicles of the World (my bit, anyway) as I see it.
No disrespect is intended towards anyone unless I make a mistake and make it too obvious.

I hope you enjoy my offerings. Feedback and comments of any kind are welcome.

Still Suffering

I have been laid up now for over three weeks!

I don't like it!

Packing boxes ready to move house isn't an option, going for anything other than short walks is uncomfortable and sitting (or lying) down is driving me nuts!

I was told to rest, you see. Take it easy.

I used to have active days ... out and about for 14 or more hours ... sometimes seven or more days in a row and I was less tired than I am now.

I'm constantly dropping off!

I'm so bored that I've resorted to amusing myself by picking people at random on Facebook and sending them jokes!

How sad is that?

Anyway, I have to get back to my suffering!

Owowow!

yikes that is some soresomeness you got there... truth is though, as I'm sure you were toldm the average for rib repair is 6 weeks. Bright note. You've only got half way to go.

    what's that...moving house? Yeechhhh that's a strain in itself.

It could be worse. You could be sending out fraudulent begging letters. Jokes are the better choice I hasten to add!! YAM xx

  2. Poor baby .. you can send me jokes. I am not in physical pain but I can sure use a laugh. I think the more you lay around, the more you need to lay around..
Heal. You will look back on this one day and wish you had time to just loll around for a day or two. besos. C

  3. I hope what's keeping you down isn't serious and, hopefully, you'll soon be out and about like your old self. Take care.

  4. You'd think a rib wouldnt be very painful wouldnt you? But those slender bones seem to be hook up straight to the pain centres of our brains. . unbelievably painful.
