About This Blog

This blog was originally started as a thread on the forum pages of an animal rescue site. Now it's here!

The articles you find in here are purely for entertainment (yours and mine) and (with one or two exceptions) are all tongue-in-cheek chronicles of the World (my bit, anyway) as I see it.
No disrespect is intended towards anyone unless I make a mistake and make it too obvious.

I hope you enjoy my offerings. Feedback and comments of any kind are welcome.

Sym

Yesterday we made the decision to ease Sym over the bridge.

He had begun to experience severe breathing difficulties and was only
able to sleep for short periods.

Julie and I held him as he fell asleep.

He is with his sister, Sox, now and is free from pain and discomfort.

  2. My heart breaks for you. I know how important Sym was to you and what a hole he leaves in your life. I realize there isn't anything I could say in the way of comfort, but Sym was blessed to have you as a life partner. Rest in peace, noble Sym.

  6. Oh, How sad. You too.
It's just not fair. I'm so sorry.

I am glad we can do that, ease them out of pain and the struggle for breath. I held Benno until he was gone. Two weeks later and we talk about him all the time. I stopped crying but miss him dreadfully.

I know exactly how you feel as, I am sure, you know how I feel.
