About This Blog

This blog was originally started as a thread on the forum pages of an animal rescue site. Now it's here!

The articles you find in here are purely for entertainment (yours and mine) and (with one or two exceptions) are all tongue-in-cheek chronicles of the World (my bit, anyway) as I see it.
No disrespect is intended towards anyone unless I make a mistake and make it too obvious.

I hope you enjoy my offerings. Feedback and comments of any kind are welcome.

Sox

Sox
1997-2012

On this day,12.06.2012, we said farewell to
our cantankerous, but much loved, Sox.

Due to the deterioration of her health and mobility and the discovery, this morning,
of a large tumour in the neck of her bladder, the decision was made to ease
her suffering.

She slipped into sleep and crossed The Bridge at 14.20 pm surrounded by 'family'

  3. Poor Sox. Enjoy the Rainbow bridge. Chase all those critters up there but don't catch any.

    1. Sox never, ever chased anything!

She was a 'saunterer' but would occasionally 'meander' and was seen at times 'strolling'.

Chasing definitely wasn't a Sox thing!

  8. Thank you all for you nice comments. Sox had a hard life before we saved her from the pound but she is 'resting' now. We have enjoyed seven wonderful years of her companionship and we are all going to miss but never forget her.
