There's nothing like having a dog in your life,

it sure as hell beats having a wife.

You can walk for hours with no complaint,

and a dog won't remind you of things that need paint.

He'll stick with you through thick and thin,

and won't run to a lawyer when you occasionally sin.

He'll always be there when you need a friend,

and he'll give you loyalty that won't waver of bend.

All you need do is give him some love,
